Series
Scope and Contents
The first group of letters are from family members, including aunts Margaret, Emma, and Lupe; grandmas Cuca and Ruthie; mom Bea; and dad George. They reflect lovingly and honestly on life in the family, in particular, on Serros' mother, Bea's, passing.
The second group of letters are from Serros' first husband, Gene Trautman. They too are reflective on the relationship, poetic and expressive, often referring to Gene's travels with his band and what that life looks like. SEE ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION BELOW.
