Michele Serros Collection Literary Works, Series 5, Original Poems, 1979 - 2007

 Series

Scope and Contents

The unpublished poems in this series have an early timespan, at least 1979, when Serros was still in high school (and maybe earlier) to approximately 1984. They are written on various sorts of paper materials, some obviously as classwork. Many have doodles and other notes on the paper, which is classic Serros. Clearly, Serros was destined early to be a poet. Because these works are unpublished, 10% OF EACH FILE FOLDER MAY BE QUOTED.

The majority of the published poems in this series are photocopies of poems found in "Chicana Falsa", such as Dead Pig's Revenge and Tag Bangers Last Can. Published literary journals that feature Serross work are also included. 10% OF EACH FILE FOLDER MAY BE QUOTED. SEE ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION BELOW.

"Unpublished works in archives are protected by U.S. copyright law, and authors maintain exclusive rights to control the duplication and distribution of their work. Although authors may transfer their copyright ownership to others or give a library ownership of the work itself, even if it is the only existing copy, this does not by itself transfer copyright in the work. The doctrine of fair use allows the copying of copyrighted works in limited situations. While not every educational use is considered fair use, copying or quoting small amounts of copyrighted material, particularly for the purpose of historical research or criticism, may be considered fair use." https://legalbeagle.com/6606003-anime-copyright-laws.html
