Biographical / Historical
The California Commerce Club was interested in building a casino in Oxnard, after the Oxnard City Council previously indicated that it would consider casinos as a money-raising option. Two other promoters submitted applications to build clubs with about 50 tables and 50,000 square feet of casino space, as well.
